Final Fantasy XIV launches patch 7.56 with Beastmaster and its second half

Do you ever find yourself asking if your beasts are sufficiently mastered? It’s a problem that many people have, but Final Fantasy XIV’s new patch today lets you answer that question with the inclusion of the new limited job, Beastmaster. The mastery or lack thereof can be addressed directly as you tame a variety of creatures, take on the board-game-style solo content for the job, and work in tandem with your pets to take on challenges with your own little bestial army.

This patch also brings with it the second half of the MSQ, with players venturing forth to learn more about the Fourth, the destination for the game’s upcoming Evercold expansion. What secrets and revelations lie hidden there are unclear, although preview images certainly make it seem that more is being teased than seemed previously possible. So what’s going on?
