The first post-launch DLC character for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is now available. Phoenix Cyclops joins the fun today, 2nd November 2026, and he's accompanied by a major game update that makes a ton of improvements.
Those who own the Year 1 Pass will already have access to Phoenix Cyclops, but he's also available as a standalone purchase, costing $7.99/£6.49.
There are also a couple of premium costumes available for purchase. There's a "Classic" blue and yellow outfit for Cyclops, while Hulk gets a Joe Fixit costume. They each sell for $4.99/£3.99.
Here's what they look like:
As mentioned, Phoenix Cyclops brings with him a major game update, free for all players, that fixes and improves the overall experience.
Improvements have been implemented regarding online play and cross-play with the PC version which should make online multiplayer more stable.
There are also fixes and updates to Training mode, some Character Lessons, and numerous characters.
Probably the biggest thing, though, is a pretty big change to certain game mechanics, mostly focused around assists.
In a nutshell, developer Arc System Works has reduced the frequency you can summon and tag into allies, forcing players to play neutral/with a singular character at times and to improve legibility during a match.
