Patch 7.3 update is almost here, and the devs at Riot Games, Inc will let Wild Rift explore lots of interesting additions and improvements. The Wild Rift Patch 7.3 update is scheduled for September 22nd, 2026, and will showcase lots of intriguing events and skins. Wild Rift Patch 7.3 Update: Overview
League of Legends: Wild Rift is introducing a music-themed patch update soon. Patch 7.3 Update will introduce new champions, skins, Ranked adjustments, modes, and more. The Ranked Map and gameplay adjustments coming to the Rift in this patch are highlighted below:
- In this patch, the devs will be boosting the stats of super and canon minions. Additionally, destroying an enemy turret will now grant allied minions a bonus AD buff.
- Smite spell has been reworked to give persistent true damage that scales with your attributes.
- The Devs have also increased the resistance of epic monsters, making them more challenging to take down solo.
- The Devs will be revamping the SA & MVP scoring system of Ranked matches. Now, your rating will be carefully evaluated based on performance in your chosen lane.
- The Devs will also be optimizing Legendary Rank, streamlining the minimum requirements.

New Champion Releases
Hwei
To kick off Wild Rift’s Patch 7.3, Hwei will be the newest mage champion joining the Rift this September. The new mage champion is also known as the Visionary, as he brings lots of versatility and utility to the battlefield.
Hwei’s first skill allows him to deal damage to enemies in various unique ways. Combining it with Hwei’s second skill, which provides extra shield sustain, will effectively make him a capable mage champion on the Rift.
Sylas
Another champion hero coming to the Rift in this new patch is Sylas. Also known as the Unshackled, he is a powerful Fighter/Brawler with skill sets that provide him with crowd control and sustain. Silas’ ultimate ability is quite powerful, as it allows you to steal your enemy’s ultimate. This allows you to create game-changing outplays during major teamfights.
Rek’Sai
Also known as the Void Burrower, Rek’Sai is the last champion that will be released in this patch update. Rek’Sai’s core gameplay revolves around digging through the rift to ambush and knock up enemy champions. Thus, making it easier for her to initiate team fights on the battlefield.

AAA-ARAM
A new season of AAA-ARAM is coming alongside the new patch update! This new season will showcase a new music-themed battlefield for players to enjoy. The kids will also receive new battle augments that will enhance your gameplay a lot.
Rift Rumble
In this new game mode, teams of 3 players will battle it out on a brand new map. The main goal of this mode is to “Kill the Enemy Champions“. You will also get to fight to claim augment stones that’d boost your stats on the battlefield. All in all, this seems to be a fun mode to engage with in this patch.
Upcoming Skins
For Wild Rift’s Ranked Season 23, Milio will be receiving an all-new season-exclusive skin. In this patch, an all-new Worlds Volibear skin will be released, celebrating the esports community.
