Following yesterday’s big version 1.4.3.0 patch for Battlefield 6, DICE has released an emergency update across all platforms, though we doubt this will bring fixes to all the bugs that surfaced from yesterday.
Console gamers will see this as Battlefield 6 update 1.000.031, and this is a small download that aims to improve the game experience.

Per DICE, here’s what today’s update does: “We are rolling out a minor client hotfix to address a backend inconsistency following the release of Update 1.4.3.0. This focuses on system optimizations and includes no gameplay or balance changes.”
The bugs DICE has acknowleged include:
- Missing Weapon Attachments: Some players are reporting missing attachments from their weapons.
- Battle Royale Modes Matchmaking: We’re investigating reports of matchmaking issues affecting some Battle Royale modes and working to determine the cause.
Yesterday’s patch also ushered in a bunch of bugs and issues such as:
- Kills not registering
- Deaths not registering
- Minimap icons missing
- Rubber banding
- Out-of-bounds warning even if you’re in the middle of the map
- In-game notifications appearing delayed compared to the actions
- Shows all your teammates as a Medic
- Contracts glitched
- Spawn screen freeze bug
- Matchmaking button sometimes missing
We’re hoping another patch is pushed out soon to fix these issues. If we hear anything, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
