We thought Nintendo might be done with these, but here’s one more at least. Nintendo has given Pikmin 3 Deluxe a free Switch 2 update. All it does is make the game run at higher resolutions in both docked and handheld modes, but it’s free!
Well, aside from that, it does actually add GameShare support as well, so you can play Bingo Battle and Local Play via GameChat if you so wish.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe is the first Pikmin game to get the Switch 2 treatment. Now, let’s get Pikmin 4 really shining.
Here’s the change notes for Version 1.2.0:
- Added support for the Nintendo Switch 2 display and high-resolution televisions, resulting in a sharper image.
- Added support for GameShare.
- From “Bingo Battle” on the title screen, options for “Local Play” and “Via GameChat” have been added.
